My androgenous nature showed itself early, had anyone known what to look for. Early in life I discovered the joys of holding a baby, and the pleasure of a good book and a rocking chair. I also took good care of my things ... the rocking chair I was sitting in at not quite one year old was the same one I was holding Weezy in when I was five.

It is noticeable that my physical development was extraordinary. One almost looks at the pictures and the ages listed and says, "No way!" I know that's how I reacted to them, at first. Until grandmother Naomi and my mother pulled out picture after picture that confirmed the ages. How a child would develop that quickly is puzzling to me and why, what's it mean? Does it have something to do with my gender diverse nature?

My own pictures affect me strangely. I remember bits and pieces of those times in my life. Confabulation? Perhaps, but if so, why not fill in more of the gaps than I do? A scrap of memory here and there, with no intense emotional attachment hardly seems the kind of thing a person would confabulate.
