Ah, when examining all that I find in my various internet avenues, I always ask, "Will this serve me?" Will this serve my path of initiation?" If I determine not, then I say "Away with this and that, energy wasters which will not increase my wisdom, understanding or application."
Those with infinite amounts of time to spare can join groups for 'unity this' and 'unity that'. They can try to 'herd cats' if they will. I've heard that phrase applied to various organizations, 'leading so and sos is like herding cats'. Cats have their own mind, yes quite independent creatures they are. They go where they want to go, when they want to go. Yes, Left Hand Pathers of the furry kind! So it is we have a couple who have chosen to grace our porch. We don't in any way encourage them. I haven't spent any energy discouraging them either.
So I often look out between the slats of our blinds and see cat-silhouettes in various poses. When walking out to do the laundry or get the mail, I see them, one white and gray and the other orange, like a thin 'Garfield'. The gray and white has such a proud stance when posing on the brick wall.
So they are they, and their presence amuses me. At first the two fought alot. Great snarlings of fearful intensity woke us at any hour of the night. At first they fought often, but gradually these hissing confrontations ceased. Now they seem in peaceful co-existence, and no 'unity group' was needed. Each merely seemed to get used to each other's company, and recognized that the other did not pose a threat to his own existence. It seems some humans need to develop 'cat-sense'.
I am one who can learn from the cats, and suspect I might learn more as well.

peaceful slumber...
