I did an automatic drawing while listening to the soundtrack from Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey. When the inspiration comes up from the 'subconscious', I don't know what I will get. This time, it was greatly inspired by the movie and its theme about the evolution of humankind.

SET is featured in the forefront of the drawing. He is having an idea. This suggests his Gift started as an idea. The thought bubble has an opening for his energy to enter and make this creation real. The monolithic box of the movie features as a further energizing element. The amoeba like creature suggests the beginning of consciousness in creation and further evolution. The creature is about to pass into unknown realms, suggested by the clover leaf like wormhole. All the questions suggest the Gift of Set, as well, as part of it is the unquenchable thirst to discover. He also, although keeping the trademark ears and forked tail, is shaped rather like a question, perhaps to suggest the mystery of his rather alien intelligence.
