2.5.06 :: [Part One] What does heaven mean to you?
The only heaven that matters is this world, here, now.
"I have come into being and by the process
For some reason, this image reminds me of a tarot card. If I try to explain it with my logical mind, I am saying 'heaven meets earth'. There is sunlight, with no mystery, and moon with its mystery. The 'tree of life' seems to be animated, perhaps it represents a consciousness. I'm not sure what the V and reversed V 'plants' represent. Perhaps the spiritual aiming to be materialized and vice versa.
The base of the 'tree of consciousness' is like a pesh khent knife, emphasising the separateness of the consciousness, (as the pesh khent knife was used in ancient Egypt as an 'instrument of separation', cutting the umblical cord). We are born from Nuit, Mother of the Gods, and then our 'umblical cord' is cut, thereby gaining a sense of our separate self. Maybe, too, the forked bottom represents feet, as we 'stand on our own two feet'.
Meanwhile, the central dotted stream line goes to the central figure, Nuit. As 'Mother of the Gods', she is the Mater, the Matrix in which everything else originates. The dotted line shows awareness of this Matrix. Thus, both awareness of our unique separateness and our connections is represented
So this tree is very much the 'tree of consciousness'. This place, the only place 'heaven' can be, 'we are carrying it around inside us, everywhere we go', is consciousness.
But how do I explain all that in the space given to the 52 Figment display? I hope I've done a good job:
I spent time pondering my answer to this weeks 52 Figments question:
Don't strain upward, it is here, now.
Don't strain outward, it is here, now.
We are carrying it around inside us,
everywhere we go.
of coming into being, the process of
coming into being is established."
By the power that is Within,
I create my world.
I bring into being beautiful things.
While I was thinking of 'heaven' being here on earth, I thought I'd try a intuitive drawing.

Pesh khent knife
My tree of consciousness:
feet on the ground, but
aware of Mystery which surrounds.
I am from Her birthed,
yet know my solitary worth.
Within me is an ebon flame,
a fire which empowers Being.
With my Will, I can make
of my world a heaven -
here on earth.
It begins in my mind,
each choice that bears fruit,
from mind to hand to deed.
This life of dynamic balance,
this is joy to me.
