Julia calls this 'Signals From Outer Space', 'the familiar with the odd'. Indeed, this 'automatic' drawing has its familiar elements. Mama is taking one child to go shopping, Father is staying home to read a book, and another child has dove into into the wastebasket searching for something. It's just 'another daily episode' in the life of some aliens somewhere.
