Assembling a World

I am not up for study, the book is closed, nor am I up for writing. But a chance sighting of two kids playing Legos inspired this drawing. Legos,in case you don't know, are tiny building blocks many of us played with as little kids to assemble anything our imagination desired. The word off to the side, 'choices', suggests that our choices are what our building blocks are in assembling the world we live in. Day to day, our choices determine what sort of life we will have for ourselves.

I don't know if I created this piece before hearing Five for Fighting's song called 'World'. I remember hearing it a lot around Christmas 2006. But I do know that everytime I hear that song now, I think of this piece.
