This is but one more detail suggesting the method by which the Christ myth was created. It also indicates that emasculation has a deep spiritual foundation. Please note also that Tatian, as other early church fathers, sincerelt believed in the existence of other gods and goddesses and spoke of them as realities. The miraculous mindset of these church authorities is entirely germane to the creation of the mythos of Jesus. This is where the "My God is better than your God" mentality took root and infected the world. Millions of people were murdered. Yet, even until today, no one has ever been brought to account, nor has any apology ever been offerred by the church. Apparently there is no regret and no shame in most of official Christianity.

"Close the gates against the profane !" Aidoneus carries off Kore, and his deeds have been made into mysteries; Demeter bewails her daughter, and some persons are deceived by the Athenians. In the precincts of the temple of the son of Leto is a spot called Omphalos; but Omphalos is the burial-place of Dionysus. You now I laud, O Daphne!--by conquering the incontinence of Apollo, you disproved his power of vaticination; for, not foreseeing what would occur to you, he derived no advantage from his art. Let the far-shooting god tell me how Zephyrus slew Hyacinthus. Zephyrus conquered him; and in accordance with the saying of the tragic poet,--

The words transsexual, transgender, and transvestite are words that have been created from a dysfunctional bipolar mentality created by the "God created Adam and Eve" religions. These are words used to marginalize gender variants, attempting to isolate us and label us as aberrations, if not abominations. By creating these words modern society can pretend that we, the gallae, have not had a history, a heritage, or that we ever existed prior to the modern era.

What few records of us that exist come from largely hostile sources. The church would deny any connection between gallae today and the "eunuch priests" of the many Goddess religions. However, hating and fearing us, their own words establish the truth of that connection.

... but inclining to voluptuousness, they become effeminate, cutting their hair in an ungentlemanlike and meretricious way, clothed in fine and transparent garments, chewing mastich, smelling of perfume. What can one say on seeing them? Like one who judges people by their foreheads, he will divine them to be adulterers and effeminate, addicted to both kinds of venery, haters of hair, destitute of hair, detesting the bloom of manliness, and adorning their locks like women. "Living for unholy acts of audacity, these fickle wretches do reckless and nefarious deeds." For their service the towns are full of those who take out hair by pitch-plasters, shave, and pluck out hairs from these womanish creatures. And shops are erected and opened everywhere; and adepts at this meretricious fornication make a deal of money openly by those who plaster themselves, and give their hair to be pulled out in all ways by those who make it their trade, feeling no shame before the onlookers or those who approach, nor before themselves, being men. For he who in the light of day denies his manhood, will prove himself manifestly a woman by night.

As for dyeing of hair, and anointing of grey locks, and dyeing them yellow, these are practices of abandoned effeminates; and their feminine combing of themselves is a thing to be let alone. For they think, that like serpents they divest themselves of the old age of their head by painting and renovating themselves. But though they do doctor the hair cleverly, they will not escape wrinkles, nor will they elude death by tricking time. For it is not dreadful to appear old, when you are not able to shut your eyes to the fact that you are so.

But for one who is a man to comb himself and shave himself with a razor, for the sake of fine effect, to arrange his hair at the looking-glass, to shave his cheeks, pluck hairs out of them, and smooth them, how womanly! And, in truth, unless you saw them naked, you would suppose them to be women. For although not allowed to wear gold, yet out of effeminate desire they enwreath their latches and fringes with leaves of gold; or, getting certain spherical figures of the same metal made, they fasten them to their ankles, and hang them from their necks. This is a device of enervated men, who are dragged to the women's apartments, amphibious and lecherous beasts.

In the next verse you will note that not only were there males presenting as woman, even to emasculation, but females were presenting as men. Lesbianism is also described in the line "women are at once wives and husbands." The full expression of gender and sexuality that exists today, existed in the far past and was not a matter of great importance until Christians came on the scene and desired to eliminate and destroy competing religions, remaining as the one and only spirituality accessible to humankind. Goddess religions were the main focus, but male priestesses serving the various goddesses were singled out for special hatred.

Men play the part of women, and women that of men, contrary to nature; women are at once wives and husbands: no passage is closed against libidinousness; and their promiscuous lechery is a public institution, and luxury is domesticated. O miserable spectacle! horrible conduct! Consequently neither is the hair to be dyed, nor grey hair to have its colour changed. For neither are we allowed to diversify our dress. And above all, old age, which conciliates trust, is not to be concealed. But God's mark of honour is to be shown in the light of day, to win the reverence of the young. For sometimes, when they have been behaving shamefully, the appearance of hoary hairs, arriving like an instructor, has changed them to sobriety, and paralysed juvenile lust with the splendour of the sight.

Nor are the women to smear their faces with the ensnaring devices of wily cunning. But let us show to them the decoration of sobriety. For, in the first place, the best beauty is that which is spiritual, as we have often pointed out. For when the soul is adorned by the Holy Spirit, and inspired with the radiant charms which proceed from Him,--righteousness, wisdom, fortitude, temperance, love of the good, and modesty.

From the above passages, nearly every person in the modern world must be debauched, living in sin, wicked, and an abomination. The early church fathers, in their greed to dominate the earth, allowed no diversity. Today, not even the priests of the Catholic Church would pass muster, for most of them shave their faces.

"But is this not the natural state for these people? How can we hope to change their nature? What is the harm they do?"asked the teenage student standing before Justin, perplexed.

We can not change them ... but we can strip them of their spiritual status, divest them of their place in the public market. If we succeed the pagan religions, so intricately entwined with the galli, must surely fall. After all, not all of Rome love them. Manhood is held sacred by the legions of the empire. Our task, then, is not as daunting as it might appear. Far more dificult to deal with will be the false Christians, those professing Christ as Lord, but who are not of our fold. Harder still will be the problem with the Jews. Those who murdered our Lord."

"How then will we deal with the heretic Christians?" asked the initiate.

"In much the same manner as the Galli. Many of the false Christian sects permit women to preach and they also retain other practices of the abominable Goddess religions. The voice of women must be silenced not only in the pagan religions, but among the heretics. Nor shall women be given voice in the Christian church. Too many still hold to the old ways, putting out cakes and wine for the Great Mother. Believing the old gods are equal in power to the one god."

"Could we not live in peace with one another, none taking ascendancy over the other?" asked the young man.

"No, for we are meant to rule the earth and all who stand in our way must join us or perish, and by one means or another we shall do exactly that. We will subvert the very nature of people, take what is held to be holy and make it appear wicked. We will do anything necessary to insure our victory. We will create legends, myths, and lies. We will commit violence and murder and instigate others to follow in our footsteps. Then, after we are finished, we will write the history of these times to flatter ourselves. After all, we are the Lords of the universe. All must bow before us and before our god. What ... where are you going, young man?" asked the priest as the student turned to leave.

"To join the Galli. I see no love in you, no spirituality, no respect for the Mystery of Life. I see only hatred, war, and a desire for power and wealth. While I am still able, before you destroy the heart of the world, I will join with my sisters. For a time, you may dominate, but some day the people of the world will mature, and they will throw you down. It will be then that people begin to learn to love one another ... for Jesus is Attis and while you have stolen Her words, you have not appropriated Her heart. In the passage of time, you will lose. For people are not wicked, you are wicked. You may fool the world for a time, but you will not fool it forever and you do not fool me now. Loving the Mystery, the Goddess, I would rather die with my sisters, then live in wealth and power and agony, with you."

"Then go ... and die, child. You are not worthy of the gifts I offer," screamed Justin.

"Thank the Goddess." exclaimed the young man, taking this opportunity to exit.

Justin, left alone, paced the floor ... "I'll kill the disreputable abomination," he promised angrily, knowing he had been bested by a child.
