Khons, Egyptian Moon God

There's just something in the expression of the eyes...

I was inspired to this by a photo of a statue of Khons in Hathor Rising, by Alison Roberts. The statue is one at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. My first continuous line drawing has slightly whacked porportions:

It's hard to tell here, but he has a crook, a flail, a Djed, and a Was-scepter, in addition to a menit-necklace and a uraeus.

As you can see from the photo, his nose got really, really long! One photo in the fascinating touregypt article about him is from 1903, before the statue was reconstructed. There was something in that image, the rather haunting look in the eyes, that led me to attempt a second continuous line drawing.
