Priestess

Will it, and BE the Way!

December 29, 2003

The following picture needs some explanation to better understand it. It is an 'automatic' drawing, one in which I just let my subconscious dictate each thing that's added to it. The priestesses hands look peculiar because they are the element with which I started. I then added hair and crown and next her shapely behind.

The items on the altar were drawn in similar fashion. The Power and the Mystery are represented as a Set-animal statue of Set for the forces of Power and a tri-partite candle for the Triple Aspected Goddess Hekate bringing forth the Mystery. The lit candles represent her Luciferian aspects of being a light bringer.

The other items are just standard things used in a Wiccan circle, such as goblet, bowl of water, dish of salt and so forth. The round thing above the priestess is a plate, and above that is an egg. The cresent moon and sun are there to represent forces of dark and light.

Xeper!
