"Angry Sketches"
I don't know if it was the influence of a newspaper horoscope I read or not, that influenced me to attempt 'angry' sketches.
It said to take a red pencil and get busy on a sketch pad to express anger, (presumeably to get it all out safely on paper and not in wall smashing, face smashing ways). The germ of the thought stayed with me, and I thought it would be good artistic practice to draw people with strong emotional expressions. So I brought up the Adobe photo stock and searched for 'anger/angry'. One model particularily impressed me with his angry looks, so I drew three different poses of his.
I like the last picture I did the best, which you see above. You can see in the lower left hand corner where I timed myself, 6:01-6:21, twenty minutes. Maybe I was more inspired to spend longer because I liked the direction it was going. However, I definitely think the expression is more one of HORROR, than anger.
