Gender Diversity and the Mythic Quest
A General Bibliography for our Metro'on Pages
assembled by Julia Cybele Lansberry

Our information, historical tales, stories, and myths are drawn from years of study in well-documented sources, not with academic aspirations, but to increase awareness of the honored past of all those of us impelled to cross bounds of gender or sexuality. We offer this bibliography of over a hundred important works as an encouragement to independent exploration of our long-suppressed heritage. Our sacred heritage is one which, allowed opportunity, speaks with power and beauty across the millennia.

A brief commentary and red highlights mark those books which have earned our highest recommendations.
Green highlights mark those books which have been an interesting read ... mostly autobiographical .
Maroon highlights mark additional reccomendations and are not necessarily the opinion of all of us here.
