I did this for the 'Friday Illustration' theme of 'Aging'. My mother sits at age seventy four. A picture of her in her twenties is there to remind her of her past, when her skin was soft, her cheeks rounded and her hair thick. But she has grown thin, her sweater is bulky on her bony frame and her hands are reddened and knobby. Did she have any idea at twenty four how fast fifty years would go by?
