She looked at him oddly. The queerest thought came to her, ''Who is he? Who is this man sleeping in my bed?'' She felt an energized restlessness, a wildness. But she felt a completeness, as well. She stuck her head out the window, looking at the brilliant full moon, and wondered what she longed for, and who that man was on her bed. She tried to think, but was frustrated that her head felt like so much mush.
''Think!'' She commanded herself. ''Let's see, this man and I exchanged letters and chatted on the internet. Then he began arriving each night, disappearing each morning. Why have I never seen him during the daylight? Who is he? What do I know about him?'' She walked over to the slumbering Sebastian, and whispered to him, ''You've not told me everything, you bastard! You've not told me everything! But we're going to get to the bottom of this, oh yes, we will. When you wake up, have I got questions for you!''
He did not hear her, however. His skin now seemed tinged with an odd luminescence, which puzzled Sonya greatly. ''How dare he suddenly gain magical properties! He's been a cad, oh, I know he has. Why did I never demand his history? Why? It's like he cast a spell over me. Each time I grew curious, he distracted me.'' ''Damn you!'' She uttered audibly.
He would not found her so docile when he awoke, which would be sooner than he wanted. She looked at her own skin, puzzled to find it luminescent as well. ''Damn that son of a bitch!'' She cursed. Sonya waited all she was going to wait. She slapped Sebastian awake, and demanded, still miraculously keeping her voice a whisper, ''What have you DONE to me, you jerkwad?'' He only responded with, ''Huh? Huh?'' She hissed, ''You know damn well what I'm talking about! I want some answers, you SOB! WHAT have you done to me?''
Seb was startled, indeed. He found himself unable to distract her, now that she was no longer human. This made him feel oddly vulnerable. ''WHAT have you done to me?'' She demanded. ''Answer!'' She hissed. ''I, uh, uh, I thought you wanted it. Didn't you want it? I thought you did.'' Seb stuttered.
''Want WHAT, you SOB?'' And then a realization ripped through her mind with a fierce and forceful rendering that nearly split her mind in two. ''My God! You've friggin' made me a friggin' VAMPIRE, haven't you!'' And she grabbed a shoe and whacked him on his small rear end.
''Well, you jerkwad! You know what you must do now! Lead me to some FOOD, you SOB! NOW! Don't be so freaking lazy! Get outta bed NOW! Show me the food, NOW!'' And she whacked him once more with her shoe.
Sebastian responded with a groan, ''Oh, okay . . .'' And then he reluctantly got up.
